Events at Run Balmoral

Run Balmoral is a family event set in the stunning grounds of the Balmoral estate and has been in existence for over 24 years. Apollo have sponsored this event since 2015, which features a variety of races for all ages and abilities. On Saturday, there were primary and secondary school races, as well as 5K and 10K races. Then on Sunday, the Apollo Duathlon took place, which was a 6K run in front of the iconic castle, followed by a challenging 16K mountain bike stage through some of the most beautiful Highland countryside, finished with a final 5K run. For those looking for an even bigger challenge, there was the Abernecessities Devil of Deeside event, which required participants to complete the Stena Drilling 10K, Harbour Energy 5K, Bristow 15 Mile Trail race, and the Apollo Duathlon.

Congratulations Team Apollo

We would also like to extend a big round of applause to everyone from Apollo who entered with a special shoutout to our very own Stephen Molloy for finishing second in the Devil of Deeside, as well as Marissa Stephen for their impressive 6th place finish in the Duathlon.

We can’t wait to be a part of next year’s event!
