Commissioning support
It is important to engineer and design “in” the commissioning process and tools into the design process allowing a seamless and documented process to run from a project execution standpoint. Thus, avoiding the gap from mechanically complete to a successful hand over of commissioned systems to operations.

Documented systems & procedures
Through Magma, we provide a digital management system along with tried and tested procedures through the CHOMS (commissioning handover management system) to allow a documented sequence of tests and controls to ensure a “ready for startup” systems for operations. CHOMS ensures the safety of personnel and equipment through the various stages through to start up. CHOMS also allows controlled reporting of progress via completed check sheets allowing management a focussed view of progress and problem areas.

Dedicated commissioning teams
We provide experienced personnel working alongside client operations teams to support, train and mentor personnel in the safe handover of systems and plant. Personnel provide a full suite of handover material including critical as-built drawings and completions documentation.

Project support
Our project teams work closely with client operations teams to ensure a safe hand over of ready to start equipment. A daily completions report will highlight punch list items along with technical queries for onsite engineers. Our project teams can provide assistance with updating or producing operating procedures.

Gap analysis
Our engineers will work with you to identify any gaps or deficiencies in your policies and procedures for commissioning and start up. Our engineers can update or produce new documentation as required.

Dedicated software tools
Magma have developed electronic management systems ensuring a structured, safe and systematic approach to the commissioning and hand over process. Our proprietary tool is CHOMS and is recognised as a market leading tool in the commissioning sector.
