We held our first-ever beach clean last Monday morning at GreyHope Bay.
Not only is it the best place to spot dolphins in the UK it is an “off-grid” eco-facility built by converting shipping containers and forms part of a 5-year plan to establish Torry Battery as a vibrant destination in Aberdeen.
We held the first of many beach cleans this past Monday which was attended by an Apollo team including people across the business from engineers, business support, project controls, principal engineers to our Design Manager and Sustainable Energy Director. They cleaned the beach collecting many bags of rubbish (as you can see!) before moving into the cafe to talk about the future of GreyHope Bay and how Apollo can support that while enjoying some warm drinks to warm up after a typical Scottish November morning!
