About the Competition
The YPPC, organised by IGEM since 2002, has served as a platform for aspiring gas professionals and students aged between 18 and 35 to showcase their skills and innovations.
Originally a paper competition, it has evolved to focus on presentations, encouraging broader participation and emphasising practical skills alongside written abilities.

Awards and Recognition
Not only will the winner secure a place in the final competition, but they will also receive £250 and have their paper published in IGEM’s journal, Gas International (Gi). Additionally, the runner-up of the Section heat will be awarded £100.
