We are pleased to announce that our Business Development Director, Lucy Green, has been appointed to the NECCUS Board of Directors.
In this role, Lucy will utilize her knowledge of the supply chain across Scotland to support the objectives of NECCUS. NECCUS, is an alliance of industry, government and experts, united by their determination to drive changes and programmes needed to reduce carbon emissions from industrial sources in Scotland.
Passionate about the skills, experience and expertise that reside within Scotland, Lucy is looking forward to continuing to play an active role in reducing CO2 emissions. Lucy joined us in 2013, and since then has worked across oil and gas, renewables and hydrogen and carbon capture developing and strengthening relationships across the sector.
Lucy said of her appointment:
I feel very privileged to take on this role at such a pivotal time for the sector, the UK and particularly for Scotland. I believe that we all have a part to play in decarbonization and the fight against climate change. We have come a long way, but there is still so much more to do.
