The theme for Earth Day 2022 is “Invest In Our Planet”. Earth Day is celebrated annually in April, and serves as a reminder to protect the environment, restore damaged ecosystems and live a more sustainable life.
Apollo has been committed to sustainable energy since its inception over 11 years ago. Our second job was a renewables project and we have been committed to making sustainable decisions since then.
Today, 11 years later, we are proud to have completed 100s of renewable projects, contributed to and designed new technologies like the Bombora mWave and the PALM (Pull and Lock Mechanism) that support a green economy and further the journey to Net Zero.
Sustainability is and always has been a key part of our core mission, and is reflected in our vision and values.
By providing a flexible working policy, challenging all business travel, recycling office waste and participating in cycle to work and electric vehicle salary sacrifice schemes we are playing our part in reducing carbon emissions. We also calculate company emissions and have plans to offset them.
