Apollo is delighted to announce that it has been awarded the Engineering Assurance Support Services contract from a leading North Sea oil and gas operator.
Through this framework, Apollo’s Technical Placements team will provide Technical Authority provision across 16 disciplines in support of all the clients operated UK sites across upstream, midstream and decommissioning reaffirming Apollo’s position as one of the leading technical engineering consultancies in the industry. The contract, worth just under £2m over 3 years is believed to be one of the largest contracts of its type in the UKCS
Apollos Technical Placements team understands the ‘people’ aspect of having the right person or team supporting vital operations along with the backing and knowledge of a leading engineering consultancy.
Technical Placements business manager, Kirstie Langan said: “We are delighted to announce the award of this key contract for our business. This is a fantastic win for us, and we are particularly proud as we believe this to be the biggest contract of this type in our industry. We competed against 9 of our most respected and well-known competitors and were able to secure the contract thanks to having a truly outstanding team of Technical Authorities and the backup of a dedicated, robust business unit. This contract sees us provide Technical Authority support across 16 disciplines to one of the largest North Sea Operators and we look forward to seeing it add great value to our client over the coming years.”
With the current situation of Covid-19 as well as a reduction in oil price, the industry has been busy rationalising its supply chain and business processes to allow for restructuring and flexible resourcing which fits perfectly within Apollo’s Technical Placements team.
